Can anybody find a solution for my problem?
I am using HP cooking gas for the past 28 years. We are poor consumers and a refill will come for us for around 80 days. This being the case, when I went for booking a refill I was astonished to note that my number has been “Blocked, since I have not booked a refill for 180 days”.
My daughter in law gave birth to a child (first child 4 years old; this is her second child) and my wife is with them at Chennai for the past 7 months. I was alone and was using the gas only to cook rice and prepare coffee. I was purchasing Sambar, Rasam etc from a mess and hence the consumption was very meager.
Now my gas agency wants me to submit a new KYC Form, with photo, Zerox copy of ration card, photo ID and zerox copies of various pages of the consumer book.
On submission of the above I was told that a person will come and inspect my house to verify (For which I have to pay Rs.50/- towards inspection Charge) and the report will be submitted to the company for releasing the block. All these process took 10 days for booking and getting the Refill.
Is there any way to get rid of the above, in case if such situation takes place once again?
